This is one of the most common questions that arises in the minds of the students, especially when they have too much to study in very little time .
The secret to this is not reducing the hours you study, instead increasing your productivity.
There is no point in studying for longer time if you're mentally fatigued just because you have to. Here's a list of things you can do to increase your productivity which will in turn reduce your study time.

1. Do not take frequent or longer breaks while studying. Ideally, you should take 15 minutes of break after every 45 minutes round of study.
2. Organize your study space. Keep only the necessary things with you. You should never keep devices like mobiles, laptops, tablets along with you while studying which can constantly distract you. While studying, it affects your concentration and you end up wasting your time.
3. Make points while studying. Use highliters and markers to emphasise on the important topics. When you start your preparation, read the topic which you need to learn, and then make pointer sentences to learn easily. To make it simpler, you can use bullets, numberings, special symbols, or mind mapping i.e. diagram to represent the answers and related topics.
4. Analyse the previous years question papers. Collect previous years question paper for at least 5-10 years. Cross-check the weightage of questions from different chapters, so as to identify chapters with more weightage and less important chapters.
You will get to know the questions and chapters which are of tough, average and easy level.
5. Make a daily habit at the end of the day to quickly revise all that you studied in points. Just recalling the headings will also be beneficial. This will help you understand important topics from every chapter which you must study for exams.
6. Most importantly, sleep well and eat healthy. You must eat healthy and rest well to keep yourself attentive while studying.
At VB's Group Tuitions these habits are inculcated in the students since the start, which has brought tremendous boost in the performance of these students in the board examinations. This has been a tried and tested method by us over the years. It has proven to be very beneficial in increasing productivity.
ALL THE BEST...!
